Real Estate Broker · Compass · New York City

A practical New York practice

Since 1995.

Tracie is one of New York City’s most consistently successful real estate brokers, ranked in the top 1% of all brokers in New York and across the country by the Wall Street Journal/Real Trends survey since 2017. With over 30 years of experience, Tracie works with clients in all price ranges, neighborhoods, and property types, and she is known for her impeccable reputation, honesty, skill, and success. Her work ethic and knowledge of the market have earned her the trust and respect of her clients, colleagues, and the New York real estate community at large.

Tracie’s negotiating acumen can be attributed to her excellent listening skills, careful attention to detail, and ability to stay calm under pressure. Putting her clients first and adhering to the highest ethical standards, Tracie is attentive to the financial and emotional considerations involved in each transaction.

Tracie has fine-tuned the art of marketing and tailors a results-oriented approach for each property she represents, obtaining the highest possible price for her sellers. Tracie’s buyers and sellers benefit from her ability to wade through sophisticated financial documents and prepare first-rate board packages. Her thorough and realistic approach to pricing, combined with her insightful market analyses, enable her to seamlessly navigate the ever-fluid New York real estate market. She possesses an unusual depth of knowledge about each neighborhood, having worked and lived in most.

Tracie has earned the loyalty of her clients, with the vast majority of her business coming through referrals from her past clients. With a large network of mortgage brokers, attorneys, contractors, and other service providers to recommend, Tracie is able to enhance and streamline the transaction experience for all her clients. Tracie also writes and distributes The Tracie Approach, a quarterly mailer that has gone out to her clients for years — each issue answers a single practical question about buying or selling in New York.

Real estate was a natural career choice for Tracie: two of her great-grandfathers were important developers and builders in New York City responsible for notable additions to the Manhattan skyline. Tracie works closely with Peter and Stephanie, who help guide her clients through every stage of a transaction.
